Our academy is dedicated to holistic student development—building strong language skills, character, essential competencies, and the confidence to succeed in school, work, and life. With experience as university department heads and specialists in curriculum design and assessment, we serve learners ages 4 to adult through high-quality English and professional training.
We offer General English, Young Learner programs, IELTS preparation, and Business English for individuals and organizations. We also offer a number of skills-based courses, including design thinking, personal development, global skills, and leadership for high school and university students. We provide workshops on college and career readiness and are exploring online homeschooling partnerships.
Community involvement is central to our mission. As our team grows, we plan to resume free English and skills courses for local youth. We are committed to supporting Vietnam’s long-term development and helping learners thrive in a global marketplace.
Mr. Steve Carbon has spent the last eight years in education, serving both as an educator and a leader. A lifelong learner, he recently earned his MS in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on innovation. His career includes roles at notable organizations such as Nestlé Foods, Kikkoman Foods, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, and Beiersdorf. Most of his professional experience has been in leadership positions. As a Global Accounts Manager in his first role, he led a global team of engineers, scientists, and statisticians to improve packaging processes significantly. In his twenties, he became a recognized international expert in flexible packaging. Subsequently, he spent 14 years building a successful building services company that pioneered green cleaning through innovative methods. In his mid-40s, he transitioned to education, applying his knowledge to empower students. He is passionate about learning, believing education can help individuals achieve peace, happiness, and success. His leadership style focuses on strengths-based leadership, integrating positive psychology, as he believes that in an innovative, AI-driven global market, students and organizations must leverage their strengths.
Dr. Phan has dedicated her career to education and leadership in the U.S. and Vietnam. She is passionate about learning, equity, and human development. Holding an MA in Education from Columbia University in New York, an MA in TESOL from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City, and a PhD from Colorado State University in Equity, Education, and Transformation, she is skilled in curriculum design, assessment development, and research tailored to individuals and organizations. Dr. Phan has researched positive psychology and the PERMA model extensively. Currently, she collaborates with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to study how positive psychology influences emotional management and stress during student assessments. She combines high intelligence with extensive educational experience from both academic and professional settings. She has access to a broad network of resources from top universities across the U.S., Singapore, Thailand, and the UK. Her passion for working with students and empowering their learning is evident. Her advanced degrees in TESOL and Education give her a solid foundation in language acquisition and instructional strategies.
